- GemWorld50 is free for children under 12 with adult admission or those in scout uniforms ($7 for adults will cover both days). The event is Saturday July 9th and Sunday July 10th at SRC Arena on the OCC campus. Want more information on this event? Here is your link.
-How about a trip to Skaneateles, NY for the 9th Annual Finger Lakes Lavender Festival? Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10th, free parking and admission (though keep in mind that for insurance purposes, no pets allowed). The event will be held at: Lockwood Lavender Farm 1682 West Lake Road Skaneateles, NY 13152. They do have a page set up for more information if you're interested here.
- Do you enjoy Farmer's Markets? Don't forget that every Tuesday until October 11, Clinton Square will be home to the Downtown Farmer's Market presented by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse. This is not only a chance to check out local food and crafts but from time to time there are also demonstrations and even occasionally live entertainment. Their website is here for more information about attending, signing up for their newsletter or even applying for a vendor application if you are interested.
- And last but certainly by no means least, Hanover Square will feature Hanover Live sponsored by Brewery Ommegang. This is a music series every Wednesday night from 6-9pm during the months of July and August. No outside food or drinks are allowed but there will be food and beverages available via various local businesses including The Evergreen Pub, J Ryans Pub and Maxwells if you are interested.
